VITAAcademy's Education Committee 

Co-chaired by two dynamic leaders of Sacramento's arts education communityVitaAcademy's Education Committee is a group of dedicated volunteers, working to change lives and communities through music and music education.

  Education Committee co-chair Deborah Pittman, of the CSUS Music Faculty was the founding director of the Sierra North Arts Project as well as the UC Davis Artsbridge Program. She is highly sought as a clinician in arts education, and as a chamber and solo performer, coach and educator. 

 Crystal Olson of the CSUS School of Education faculty is an esteemed expert in music and arts education and a driving force in Sacramento's arts education community. Her areas of expertise include the Kodaly, Orff and Waldorf systems. She leads the graduate program in Integrated Arts Education. This summer she will be a presenter at the World Conference on Music Education in Beijing China.
